HG Brokerage was understanding and said they'd refund the money after inspecting the vessel to make sure it was in the same condition. It took 7 full days to get my refund processed.

HG Brokerage sent an inspector out within 3 days, confirmed the issue, and I got my refund on day 7 after the request. So yeah, 7 days is normal for post-inspection refunds. The 2023 Ranger 1880 MS arrived yesterday from HG Brokerage and I took it out on the lake today — AMAZING! The boat is in perfect condition, exactly as described. Delivery was on time (5 days, which was exactly what they promised). I did my inspection on day 1 and everything checked out perfectly.

I want to give a HUGE thank you to @LakeFisherTim, @WalleyeWanda, @CrappieCraig, @NorthernPikePaul, and @MuskyMike for reassuring me about HG Brokerage. The 7-day refund delay from my previous purchase was totally reasonable given my situation (post-inspection + long distance). This time, I know I'm in good hands.
